KENYA COLONY-2009AD

This is not fiction.

Kenya has finally become an American Colony where our Republic status
seems to have been surrendered to the U.S government in favour of
being a subsidiary state in United States of America-an outpost in
Africa.

The show has been highly welcomed by a section of our so called
leaders masquarading as reformists.

When a foreign government starts flexing it's muscles to force a
President to revoke an appointment that has no international
bearing, whether this appointment is right or wrong,we ordinary Kenyans
cannot help but wonder whether the President of USA is also a
principal in the coalition government either by being the most
powerful man in the world or by a mere accident of having had a Kenyan
father among other fathers that he had.

As if this is not enough, some funny letters have been sent to our
leadership to the effect that they have been banned from travelling to
US either on private or government business.

Even in failed states like Afghanistan and Iraq where the American
government has failed to restore civil order leave alone
democracy, such extreme measures have not been taken.

With this kind of behaviour,it is easy to understand why the
Zimbambwean President talks of such States wanting to colonise Africa
again probably because they missed the bus during the first
colonisation by imperialistic regimes of that century.

Kenya in a way seems to be cursed by producing the first Black
American President who is keen to be the Leader both in America and in
Kenya too!

Friendly states have what is commonly known as Diplomatic Protocal to
help guide the relations between such states.

In case of Kenya and America, these kind of relations seems to have
taken the route of presidential decrees to Kenya Colony as if we are
not a true Republic!

Our freedom fighters must be flinching in their graves as they hear
our so called political leaders playing sycophants to foreign powers
in order to settle political scores with their former political
bedmates of yester years before they fell from grace and favour of
powers that be.

Greed for power by all means should surely not lead is to sell our
dear country to the devil just because we hate our political opponents
with passion of divorce like hatred.

When sanity is restored tomorrow and we need to be exemplary
nationalistic leaders who rise above their political party cocoons, we
may still need to govern this state as a sovereign republic that has
not been sold to the highest bidder.

We need to be sober even when we are settling political scores with
our political enemies not to seem to be inviting foreign powers to
come and re-colonise our country just because we want to be president
in 2012.

This is selling our country so cheap while masquarading as reformists.

We fought for indipendence so that we could be a sovereign state not a
colony of U.S.A no matter whether one of us thro a biological accident
has managed to ascend to the highest office in that foreign land.

Kenyans of good faith should see this insult that is being handed down
to us thro diplomatic bullism!
